Many thanks for participating in this project. The postcard you wrote on will be included in in my upcoming exhibition – and thereby your participation along with the local people of Þingeyri. The exhibition will take place at the Museum of Memories (Vertshús) in Þingeyri in the Westfjords of Iceland in July 2019.
Interested guest where offered to participate in the art work entitled collection of memories. The work reflects on the situation in Iceland 100 years ago. Participatory art like this is a form of art that directly engages the audience in the creative process so that they become participants in the event.
